AdBlock Plus: Protect Google Adsense from Generating Fake Impression & Getting Banned

Google bans any publisher that reloads their page(s) too much - whether you're intentionally doing it or not. It is considered, fake impression. But, I'd like you to be of good cheers cos there is a reliable app for protecting publishers from generating fake impression and from getting banned for it. If you are interested in learning how to protect your Google Adsense account (with AdBlock Plus) by preventing your blog from generating fake impression which is reloading your page(s) too much. No much talk, just sit tight as I take you on a tour.

adblock protects Google adsense account

The primary means of monetizing a blog is by placing ads on the site, and Google Adsense happens to be the best ads program of all online ads publishing programs. Are you surprise to know that, Is this the first time you’re learning that? Don’t be, Adsense is simply reliable; and because of this, bloggers, both old and new always send applications to Google adsense, just so they can partake on the adsense ads program – People even venture into blogging or get into other ways of driving traffic, just to make money via adsense. I guess you know where you've got lots of people, there must be some who'd be unskilled. Google knowing this and in protection of her Terms of Service (TOS) has made approval to Google Adsense a strict one. I know lots of sites with huge traffic suffering Google Adsense disapproval, others get banned and some don’t even get approved at all.

Getting approved on Google adsense should be best described as or compared to hell - not all cases though. Bloggers who got adsense the hard way will likely jubilate when they get an approved account with adsense. Adsense may not be that difficult to get, its only difficult when you're getting something wrong.

I am not trying to exaggerate how difficult getting an adsense account is, so do not panic. Adsense may be difficult to get and maintained but not IMPOSSIBLE, It is certainly not impossible. In essence I am trying to outline how difficult it may be but the truth is, not everyone faces these difficulties - If you've done a good research on how adsense works, you'll barely go wrong. The beginning of yourself research should be: read Google's Terms of Service and AdSense program policies - Also put them to work, that way, getting banned will just be a word.

If you've gotten an approved adsense account, you may want to know that it is not enough to get approved on adsense, as one thing is to get into adsense and the other is to protect your account. One tricky thing that has led to several terminated adsense accounts is fake impression. When bloggers or webmasters get suspended or banned this way, they for this reason begin to wonder where they went wrong. The message they likely get after being banned for fake impression is;

Hello, After reviewing our records, we've
determined that your AdSense account
poses a risk of generating invalid
activity. Because we have a
responsibility to protect our AdWords
advertisers from inflated costs due to invalid activity, we've found it
necessary to disable your AdSense
account. Your outstanding balance and
Google's share of the revenue will
both be fully refunded back to the
affected advertisers. Please understand that we need to take
such steps to maintain the
effectiveness of Google's advertising
system, particularly the
advertiser-publisher relationship. We
understand the inconvenience that this may cause you, and we thank you
in advance for your understanding and
cooperation. If you have any questions or concerns
about the actions we've taken, how
you can appeal this decision, or invalid
activity in general, you can find
more information by visiting http://www.google.com/adsense/

Sincerely, The Google AdSense Team

Whenever you get banned and receive a message like this, it’s simply because you re-load your page too much. Imagine getting banned just because you reload you own page, and the worst of it is; you mightn't even have a bad intention when you did that. Please do not wait until you get banned before you start using the app, AdBlock Plus, its free!

Bloggers surely reloads their pages especially when working on their sites, but then Google does not want you to do so as it generates fake impression - If you decline with them and went ahead to reload your page time and again, Google will surely ban you when it gets to their nerve (limit). Complicating, isn't it?

Now, this brought about a question; “How many times can one reload his page a day”. For me, that question is unnecessary. Cos when Google bans anyone, they do so bluntly. So your way of protecting your account should be absolute. Minimizing the way you reload your page (blog or website) might not help as you don’t know the limit before you get hit by the big G. I’ll best describe that as a bush meet attempting to see the mouth of the hunter’s gun, until it is taken unaware. But if the bush meet takes off and disappears into thin air, there’s no way its life would be at risk. I guess this tells you what I meant by an “absolute way of protecting your adsense account”. The browser app; adblock plus gives this absolute protection against fake impression. It is available for the listed browsers; Google chrome, , Firefox and was recently made available for Safari.” For some reason AdBlock is not available for Internet Explorer says; AdBlock official site but some other sites claim to have it (we don't recommend it though).

How Adblock Plus Works

Adblock Plus helps in blocking ads from websites. It’ll block an ad and leave the ad space blank that when you click on the ad space nothing will happen. That is to say, it permanently blocks ad(s) from a websites unless deactivated. AdBlock can be set to block certain ads and leave every other ad to display within a website - The option is called filter. It can also be deactivated from just a website yet it'll still be active on the browser.

Blogger's Benefit for Using Adblock Plus Works

1)  Invalid Click

The app will protect you from invalid clicks, I have had a friend that complained that his site was opened, while he wasn't there but when he came he discovered his younger brother clicking on the Adsense ads displaying on his site continuously. His account was banned a few days after the experience. Sad

2)  Fake Impression

Pageview can also be referred to as Impression, so when you're reloading your page time and again - even if you're not doing it with a bad intention, it simply tell Google you're doing something fishy. Impressions count to them, and they strictly warn against it on the AdSense program policies. This app I have shared with you, Adblok plus, also helps you from generating fake impressions by the way of blocking ads from displaying on your site. Take note that ads on your site will only be blocked on your browser and not to any person who is visiting your site from another web browser.

AdBlock for Chrome

Installation of app on Chrome is freaking easy. To get app click here.

Here’s how it works – Adblock can block an ad leaving other ads – This feature is not limited to Chrome only, it’s the filter feature supported by adblock. App can be deactivated from blocking or from being active on some websites yet it will be active on the browser - It will be active with other websites. There was a time I installed an online TV app to my Chrome browser and then I started noticing ads displaying on my blogger account, YES! I mean my blogger account. I deactivated those ads using the filter feature, after deactivating, I discovered that I deactivated my sign-out button along with ads. But later, I found out that the online TV app I installed was the reason behind all those ads on my blogger account. So I deactivated the app but then, my blogger sign-out button was already gone. I was only able to fix that problem simply by deactivating AdBlock from blogger.com only. Adblock is not always placed on the same location on browsers but have same function throughout all supported browsers.

How To Block Ads on a Specific Location and Still Have it Running on the Site

  • Click on the AdBlock Plus Icon on the address bar
  • Click on Easy create filter
  • Now, anything you hover your mouse across on the page will be highlighted yellow, that when you click on it
  • You'll get a pop up
  • On the pop up, click "Add" and it's done.

Adblock for Firefox

AdBlock on Chrome works the same way with Mozilla Firefox, but on Firefox, its located on the bottom left. To get its options, simply right-click on it and click on the option you want.
To get app click here
While on the site, click on the "Download Now" button
