Hey! Here's another way to save cash for the man on tight budget. You can actually save #200 naira on subscribing to Glo Blackberry Internet Service, if you are using Glo BIS to browse on PC. Normally what we use is the Glo BB Complete plan which costs 1, 400 naira. I was surfing through Google search today, when I stumbled upon a question; "pls, is the glo bis 1400 bb cheat still working on pc? Airtel z fuckin up big tym here" And then came responses. From there it was disclosed that Glo Social plan also works on PC. The Social month costs 1,200 naira yet gives the same 3GB Glo Complete month plan gives you which is also having the same duration of one month. When I wrote about How to Use Glo BIS on PC, I remember I said; "The Blackberry Internet Service is the medium, God is using in reducing internet browsing cost in Nigeria. Before you know it, it would be #200 naira for 1Gig and #550 naira for 3Gigs lol." It was a joke but I think, the joke I made is coming to reality. Imagine Glo BIS monthly subscription which gives 3GB now costs just 1,200 naira. I am happy ;)

So, What is the Code to Glo BIS Social Plans Subscription?
I know this is where your interest lies. The usual or should I say the popular Glo BIS subscription code is; comonth (Complete month) which costs 1,400 naira but the one that costs 1,200 naira is somonth (Social month). The weekly plan for both Complete and Social (coweek and soweek) costs 400 naira each, I thought since the Social monthly plan was cheaper, the weekly plan will also be cheaper than the one of Complete.
To activate the SoMonth - Send SoMonth to 777 via SMS | costs 1,200 naira and lasts for one month
For SoWeek - Send SoWeek to 777 via SMS | costs 400 naira and lasts for one week.

Modem Configuration for Glo BIS on Computer (PC)
- From your modem dashboard,
- Click on "Tools" then "Options" under which you will now select "Profile Management".
- Under Profile Management, click on "New" and fill it as seen below:
Profile Name : Glo BISAPN : blackberry.netAccess number: *99#Username : leave blankPassword : leave blank
- Once you’re done creating the profile, click "Save" to save the settings.
- Go back to the Connection interface, select "Glo BIS", from the drop down box, then click "connect".
With that in place you've got the Glo Blackberry Internet Service working on PC. Below is the information on how to to get this to work on Ipads.
