I was browsing the internet and then I stumbled upon a post with the headline; "8 Proven ways how to boost Alexa ranking". Out of curiosity I hit the headline to see what the 8 proven ways are. I open the article after reading its headline cos I have written about this before and my steps aren't up to that but are effective. One thing that was added to this 8 proven ways as it was tagged, was; "Clam your site at Alexa" but every other steps were redundancy (not condemning). After reading this, I immediately navigated to Alexa.com to claim my site immediately. But then I had a problem, I only had a problem cos I followed the first option out of the two options that was given on Alexa. If you are reading this, and you are interested in adding your site to Alexa or claim ownership of your site at alexa, the steps are made easy here, So be clam to read through. Before jumping to the steps on how to add site to Alexa, let me quickly stress this, I made mention of something but didn't say it directly; Claiming your site at Alexa boosts its Alexa ranking.

How to Claim Your Blog at Alexa.com
Step 1
- To claim your blog at Alexa, you must be a registered user. If you don't have an account on Alexa yet, visit Alexa to create an account or Login.
- After creating an account and or Logged in, click on "Dashboard" on the menu bar.
- I guess this is your first time, On you dashboard you'll see; "Add sites to get certified metrics, run site audits, or edit site information. Get Started" see image below;
Click on image for better view;
- Click on the "Get Started" button
- On the next page, click on Free Sign Up
- Enter site's URL to the "website URL" field and hit "Continue"
- Copy and save your ID which is underlined with a green line on the image above to a notepad. It will be needed later.
Note; Do not close the Alexa page.
Step 2
- From your blogger dashboard
- Click on "More Options"
- Click on "Template" - From here you may back up your template (Very important)
- Click "Edit HTML"
- Make sure to tick the "Expand Widget Template" box and
- Find <head> using Ctrl + F on your keyboard.
- Paste the Alexa ID I asked you to save to a notepad below the <head> tag.
- Having done that, Click "Save Template" and go back the Alexa page and
- Click Verify my ID

Now doubts all search engines are popular and providing better services but I think now-a-days Google is more popular than the another search engines and it is more considerable for SEO.
But please! Do not use;
